Terror Toons
by Scumbalina and Hannah Neurotica

I’d been dying to see this for years. It's been on my amazon wishlist for what seems like an eternity, but only recently decided to finally buy it. I believe it was used for about 74 cents plus shipping. I wouldn't spend more than $5 on this movie.

The premise isn't very complex. Satan created a "new style of animation" {which appears to be a guy in a mask, with some mild editing in Final Cut pro}, to corrupt children during Saturday morning cartoons. A buxom porn star -esque looking girl, portraying a child {pig-tails and a high pitched voice} watches a Terror Toons DVD, unleashing Dr. Carnage and Max Assassin {thee terror toons} into the real world. Candy {porn-star little girl} and her sister Cindy are left home alone, so Cindy and her friend decided to invite boys over. Victims for the terror toons...

Despite how completely ridiculous and poorly made this movie is, I really enjoyed it. I think they may have dragged it out a bit, but for what it is, it's a fun movie. The "cartoons" costumes are pretty cute; the soundtrack is cool even though it's clearly a direct rip off of Beetlejuice. Like I said, I wouldn't spend much money on this movie, but I'm glad I've seen it.

It’s been a while since I watched this movie so my review will be rather short. I have seen some pretty crap movies in my time- so crappy that I have had to turn them off (coughTheLastHorrorMoviecough) but I never thought once about not seeing this movie through to the end. Sure its incredibly low budget, utterly ridiculous, and trashy as all hell but so what? The costumes are fun, and the scene where the main girl fights the terror toons is uber colorful & rather awesome. Its very obvious that the filmmakers had fun putting this little movie together. Bottom line: you gotta really be a horror trash fan for this to work for ya.
